It was not long ago I reviewed Ruger’s entry into the silencer market the Silent-SR, you can read that review by following this link. This past NRA show Ruger introduced the Silent-SR ISB, integrally suppressed barrel for the 10/22 take down models. It was also not long ago I reviewed the new 10/22 Lite take down and you can read that review by following this link. While reviewing that rifle, I did fall in love with it and secured the test sample for myself. Lucky for me that I did, as I immediately requested the Silent-SR ISB for review and Ruger was good enough to get the paperwork started.
Initial Impressions
The Silent-SR ISB replaces the removable barrel on your 10/22 take down.
Though only a 10.62″ barrel, since the silencer part is integrated and cannot be removed, legally it is a 16.12″ barrel so it only takes a single tax stamp to posses.
The stainless steel baffle stack can be easily removed using the included hex key, removing the threaded fastener, removing the end plate, then sliding the stack out.
Each baffle is separated and should be cleaned every 500-1000 rounds depending on what ammo you use. It snaps back together and is reinstalled pretty easy.

Conclusions
The 10/22 Takedown Lite has become my favorite .22 rifle and with the Silent-SR ISB it is even more my favorite. Not sure on the grammar there but you get my drift. Very little accuracy was lost, about a half of a MOA. Reliability is still 100% except with the Aguila 40gr subsonics which were a bit inconsistent in driving the bolt back enough to chamber the next round. With the integrally suppressed barrel you save on length over a standard barrel with a silencer installed but more importantly this setup is very unnoticeable, letting you fly under the radar a bit as is does not draw the amount of attention as a rifle with a silencer installed. The barrel is technically 10.62 inches long but since the silencer is permanently affixed it is counted as total barrel length, so this is a single tax stamp setup. Suppression levels over the standard 10/22 with the Silent-SR installed seem very similar according to my sound meter. While the fun factor is at the top of my list for reasons to have this rig, it would serve very well as a training rifle for new shooters who may be recoil and/or report sensitive.
