It was May of 2017 when I published the review of the then new Ruger MK IV 22/45 Lite, you can read that review by following this link.   A few weeks later I upgraded some of the factory parts with Tandemkross parts. You can read that full review by following this link.

It was a few weeks ago I upgraded some more parts, adding the Cornerstone safety thumb ledge, Hivegrips wrap around rubber stocks, and Game Changer Pro compensator.

The Cornerstone safety thumb ledge allows you to run a high grip on the 22/45 riding your thumb on the safety ledge for solid control.
Oversized, 1911-style safety ledge
Enhances factory safety
Improves hand placement for better grip, control

The Hivegrips are textured wrap around rubber grips with finger grooves that aid in keeping a solid purchase on the pistol, especially when your hands get a bit sweaty after a long day at the range.
Aggressively textured rubber for improved grip in any shooting condition
Patented impact and vibration dampening material
Ergonomic finger grooves for better control – ideal for speed and accuracy

The GameChanger Pro was by far the most noticeable addition cutting the muzzle flip down by a great deal.
Steel compensator adds weight for better balance, more accuracy
Proprietary coating makes cleaning the compensator easy
Vents gases at dual 45° angles for better visibility & control
Width: .99 inches
Height: 1.5 inches
Weight: 2.83 ounces

I have come to know a bit about Tandemkross and they make quality aftermarket parts for several platforms, so if you are looking to upgrade your match or range gun it would be worth checking out their website and looking over what they have to offer. https://www.tandemkross.com/

By Hunter Elliott

I spent much of my youth involved with firearms and felt the call early on to the United States Marine Corps, following in my father's and his brother's footsteps. Just after high school I enlisted and felt most at home on the rifle range, where I qualified expert with several firearms and spent some time as a rifle coach to my fellow Marines. After being honorably discharged I continued teaching firearm safety, rifle and pistol marksmanship, and began teaching metallic cartridge reloading. In the late 1990s I became a life member to the National Rifle Association and worked with the Friends of the NRA. Around that time my father and I became involved with IDPA and competed together up until he passed away. I began reviewing firearms for publications in the mid 2000s and have been fortunate to make many friends in the industry. Continuing to improve my firearms skills and knowledge is a never ending journey in which we should all be committed. I am also credited as weapons master on a few independent films.
