CZ P10 M is a micro 9mm striker-fired pistol aimed at the concealed carry market.
The polymer receiver is well stippled on the front and backstrap and the grip area. The accessory rail is standard. The trigger breaks around seven and a half pounds with some take up and overtravel, but the reset is short and easily perceived. There are no external controls save the magazine release.
Capacity is seven-plus one.
The sights are three-dot photoluminescent, with the rear being drift adjustable.
The magazine base pad completes the grip area while allowing enough real estate to grip and rip the magazine in the unlikely event of a malfunction.
Conclusions
There were zero malfunctions during 350 rounds of various types, from ball to target and defensive rounds. Accuracy was on par with a 3″ 9mm striker-fired pistol. The lack of a slide release detracted from the gun for me as I prefer dropping the slide on a full magazine with the slide stop. With no slide stop, overhand or slingshot methods are your only options for loading from slide lock. The seven-plus one did not bother me at all for a carry gun. I am a 1911 guy and have been comfortable with the seven-plus one with a spare magazine for decades. With many states being less than free magazine restrictions, your options are limited on what you can carry. If you insist on more magazine capacity, CZ makes a couple of other models of similar size with ten and twelve round magazine capacity. While micro 9mm pistols are on the snappy side, the P10 M was noticeably more comfortable than the ones I have reviewed in the past. It is a bit more comfortable than the SIG P365 and far and away more comfortable than the Springfield Hellcat. The 9mm Luger is a viable defensive round and with the inherent reliability and accuracy from a CZ pistol the P10 M is an excellent choice for a carry gun.
